Holocaust Education to Protect Human Rights

Advance Holocaust Education and Human Rights

We believe that remembering the past is essential to shaping a just and compassionate future. The Max Eisen Lecture in Holocaust Studies is a powerful expression of that belief.

This annual public lecture brings together survivors, scholars, students, and community members for meaningful discussions on resilience, remembrance, and lessons from our past.

The series was founded by the late Professor Emerita Carolyn Kay, a passionate advocate for Holocaust education, and honours the legacy of Dr. Max Eisen '18 (hon) (1929–2022), a Holocaust survivor who dedicated his life to educating others so history would not repeat itself.

Through personal testimony and academic perspective, the Max Eisen Lecture deepens our understanding of the Holocaust and renews our collective commitment to human rights.

With your support, we can continue to inspire dialogue, challenge misinformation, and work towards building a more just world.
