Catharine Parr Traill College

Founded in 1964, Traill is Trent's oldest college. Named after nineteenth-century author and naturalist Catharine Parr Traill, the college has forged a unique identity as Trent's downtown hub of community and learning.

Champlain College

Established in 1965, Champlain was the first of Tom Symons' collegiate vision. Today, Champlain's spirit of adventure, discovery, and global citizenship lives on in its motto: continuer nos découvertes (continue our discoveries).

Lady Eaton College

At Lady Eaton College (LEC), tradition meets youthful passion in a welcoming, energetic community. Our namesake, Lady Flora McCrea Eaton, challenged us to: "Have an open mind, trust, learn every day, and keep doing it as long as you live."

Otonabee College

Trent's largest college, Otonabee welcomes a diverse group of learners, researchers, and practitioners to its home atop the East Bank. Its motto, tempora mutantur nos et mutamur in illis (the times are changing and we change with them), inspires OC students as they lead with heart.

Peter Gzowski College

Founded in 2004, Gzowski College is Trent's youngest, named after broadcaster and former Chancellor Peter Gzowski. Known for its entrepreneurial spirit and strong sense of community, the college is housed in Enwayaang - an Anishinaabek word meaning "the way we speak together."

Gidigaa Migizi College

Trent's newest college will be named in honour of the late Gidigaa Migizi (Doug Williams) '69 – professor, elder, and community leader renowned for his dedication to students and for protecting Anishnaabeg treaty rights. This will be Trent's first college named after an alum.
