Our world is full of opportunity. Momentous possibilities through which new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, growing global networks, and rising social movements will reshape how we live, work, and learn. Throughout my 20 years at this university, I’ve experienced firsthand the power of what I now call "momentous moments" – when leadership, talent, and connection come together to inspire meaningful change. These moments are not rare at Trent; they are the lifeblood of our university. They happen in classrooms and labs, in community partnerships and conversations within our colleges, and in the quiet confidence our graduates carry into the world.

The Momentous Campaign reflects the very heart of our mission: to cultivate the leadership of tomorrow, to remove barriers for all students, and to reimagine our campuses and communities for a sustainable and inclusive future.

It is a call to action to turn possibility into something momentous.

Our students, faculty, alumni, and partners are already doing this important work. They are forging new paths in areas such as health, education, clean technology, and environmental stewardship.
