Connecting communities

SUPPORT COMMUNITY BASED RESEARCH AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

U-Links connects Haliburton Highland organizations with Trent University students and professors, providing industry experience to students and community-based research that answers questions, solves issues, generates new ideas, and supports community events. Both undergraduate and graduate students engage in community-based projects, collaborating with community organizations and local volunteers. Projects include lake and forest health monitoring, shoreline restoration, and affordable housing innovation.

Since 1989, more than 2,500 students have benefited from this innovative partnership.

With your support, we can help even more students with transportation, research equipment, supplies, and coordination. Trent and U-Links both contribute, but your gift helps maintain this program.

Please consider supporting Trent students in gaining real world learning experience, while making a valuable contribution to our Haliburton Highlands community.
