Trent Community Fuels Student Success This Giving Tuesday

Collective impact of Trent supporters on Giving Tuesday provides flexible funding for students when and where they need it most 

The Trent community united in an extraordinary display of generosity this Giving Tuesday, rallying behind the Trent Fund and other key initiatives that empower students and strengthen our University.  

The Trent Fund provides flexible funding where it’s needed most - covering unexpected costs, easing financial strain, and ensuring students can stay focused on what matters: excelling in the classroom and shaping bold futures.

This year, donors supported a wide range of priorities, in addition to the Trent Fund, such as:

• Indigenous student support,  

• Camp fYrefly Leadership retreat for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, and 

• Trent Athletics
